well its not like i can just leave you empty handed. i will tell you the TRUTH behind "ginger jones"s absense in the comic "pinky and pepper forever".

ginger jones was good friends with both pinky and pepper, going to barkley college alongside them. now youre probably wondering, if ginger jones was in barkley college, then why dont we see her ever? thats because shes DEAD. okay im kidding. her death was just faked. why you may ask? because ginger jones actually lives in canterlot with her loving girlfriends, ceruleany and salt.

ceruleany and salt are EVIL. and the greatest wizard ever to ever to ever exist (gracelyn) banished them to the land of my little pony, undestimating her own magic skill and not knowing it would work. after adjusting to the weird pony lifestyle, ceruleany and salt bunkered down and got a house together in canterlot. ceruleany, struggling to relearn to hold art supplies, loses her skill and never draws ever again. however, in a state of pure boredom, she learns to code. "b-but equestria doesnt have computers!" SILENCE. you insisted on getting in my beeswax so youre gonna have to COPE. tapping a keyboard is (debateably) more easy than holding something with hooves, so ceruleany makes her debut game, "sburb". she becomes rich and a sugar mommy for salt, and to salts request installs an appearifier in their basement.

the series of events that happens in "pinkie cooper and the jet set pets" is what happens after pinkie and pepper graduate barkley college. ginger jones influenced them to all take a fashion course together, in which they all succeeded. however, in "pinky and pepper forever" ms jones isnt present. thats because the time of her disappearance was before any of them even applied for college. pinky and pepper, in the latter title mentioned, are stated to be 21. we can assume they have been in college for atleast a few weeks/months due to their classmates comments. in actuallity, ginger jones, pinky cooper and pepper parson all met just a year before college, age 20. pepper and pinky were already together, though pepper began forming a crush on ginger. afraid of asking pinky to be a throuple - due to not knowing wether she was strictly monogamous - pepper decided to keep her thoughts in her diary. months went by, it was unbareable. until one day pepper couldnt find her diary. she figured pinky must have found it, and she wanted to tell ginger herself before pinky told her. so she called her up and scheduled a meeting.

the flowers were blooming, the sun was setting, it was spring. beautiful pink cherry blossom leaves floated through the air, landing on both ginger and pepper. their conversation went a little something like this.

"pepper?"

"yeah..."

"why did you call me here? you look nervous."

she paused

"i need to tell you something ginger... its pretty obvious that uhm..."

"obvious that what pepper? you know you can always talk to me. im worried..."

"that youre the obvious choice for me. and pinky too... i just - i dont know... i love you both. its confusing."

"pepper i-"

"dont... let me speak... please."
"you know me and pinky have been together forever, but ever since i met you i cant help but feel this spark around you. your smile... your laughter... your eyes... they just. they make me feel things. im not saying i dont love pinky, i do, i get that same spark around her. i just dont know how she'd react to me telling her... and im pretty sure she found out for herself..."

"peps... i dont know what to say..."

"you dont... *sniffle* have to say anything..."

"i think i need a moment"

"okay..."

pepper turned around, sighed, and waited for a few minutes on a neighbouring street. when she returned, ginger was gone. that was the last they ever heard of her. turns out, pinky didnt steal the diary and had no clue what pepper was so upset about, or where ginger had gone. pepper confessed to pinky her feelings about ginger, to which pinky did admit she had some feelings for ginger too. pinky and pepper then signed up for barkleys art course, which is where we see them in the events of the comic. "pinkie cooper and the jet set pets" is an alternate universe where ginger doesnt disappear and theyre all in a throuple, a happy one at.

where did ginger disappear to? well, turns out she was appearified by ceruleany and salt. the diary that pepper had kept, as esablished before, was NOT taken by pinky. infact, it was accidentally appearified by ceruleany and salt. ceruleany and salt read so much about this "ginger jones" that both had fallen in love with her too, and so, ginger enters equestria. ceruleany and salt naturally persue her, where they all end up in an as equally happy throuple and pinky, pepper and ginger did in pinkie cooper and the jet set pets.
